Inspiration
I’m trying to remember what the inspiration for this story was. I can’t remember if it was a challenge response, though there’s no note of that anywhere. I think it was definitely related to wondering what might have happened if Sonny had died in the car bomb that actually killed Lily.
There’s some decent stuff in this, but again, as a writer back then, I was impatient and not as involved in laying foundations.
Timeline
Remember Lily Rivera who died in that car bomb meant for Sonny in 1996? The car bomb killed Sonny. Lily went on to have a son named Michael Corinthos, Jr. She lives in Sonny’s old penthouse and Jason lives in the one across from her.
Elizabeth is a new character. Her maiden name is Webber–but she’s not Jeff’s daughter or Audrey’s granddaughter. She’s like a brand-new character. She moved to PC in 1997 and began dating Lucky. She became pregnant and they got married. Lucky was killed in a car accident a few months later. A month later, her daughter, Alexandria Mary (Lex) was born. Elizabeth worked in The Outback before she bought it with the money from Lucky’s insurance.
Nikolas and Lucky were close before his death. Nikolas and Liz never got along. Luke and Laura didn’t have their daughter, Lesley Lu. Lucky was their only child.
Alexis is Jason’s attorney. Brenda and Sonny broke up before his marriage to Lily and Brenda left town. Jason and Robin dated for three years before breaking up. Robin got fed up with both Jason and his life. She left for Paris, seemingly for good.
Carly is not Bobbie’s daughter and therefore never slept with Tony. She and AJ fell in love and married.

Background
This may be one of the oddest stories I’ve ever written. It retells the storyline of Elizabeth falling at Rice Plaza in 2003, when Faith pushed her and caused her miscarriage. The show wanted to have Ric blame Sonny, which I totally understood, but then there was that ridiculous panic room storyline that would have destroyed any other character, but somehow Rick Hearst was so amazing, even I still love him and he almost killed my favorite character a dozen times.
This show is not specifically one couple or another, and surprisingly, it’s more Jason/Courtney and Ric/Elizabeth than I had intended, but I still liked the way it worked out so I can’t complain too much. I had intially intended on a whole other second part of this that might have explained the title, but I ended up dropping it, so don’t try and figure it out too much. It doesn’t fit the story whatsoever 😛 There’s always maybe the possibility of a sequel, but with my list of stuff to write, it’s unlikely.
This story includes Amy Adams as Robyn Nicholas, and Holly Marie Combs as Jessica Mitchell.

Inspiration
This is my second attempt at a full-length Scrubs story, after North Star. I’m actually pretty happy I managed to focus just on Patrick and Robin and their story. Usually, I can’t help myself. Elizabeth has a minor subplot, but it’s almost non-existent and ties into the larger story.
When Patrick and Robin first got together, there were a plethora of pregnancy stories floating around the web. Probably because it was clear Robin wanted a family and that Patrick didn’t. With the addition of Robin’s HIV status, this was a go-to plot line. I hope I did it justice.
Timeline
Sanctuary is set in the summer of 2006. However, the events on the show after about March are basically non-existent. This isn’t important other than the Maarkaam Islands adventure never happened. Robin and Patrick were dating briefly, but broke up. Jesse Beaudry was killed (but this is only in reference to Maxie being single.)

Inspiration
In 2006, there was a challenge at The Canvas, in which an author would receive a title and would have to write a story accordingly. I received The Witness from IsisIzabel, and somehow this story came about. It’s literally one of my favorite stories I’ve ever written and still the one I get asked about (the only one that’s completed, that is), inquiring about a sequel. I always feel slightly guilty since this story, though originated on a Jason/Elizabeth board, is barely Jason/Elizabeth. Their friendship is in there, and if I ever wrote the sequel, I’m sure a romance would be in there. It just never fit the plot. Â If anything, this story is much more Patrick/Robin and Dillon/Lulu.
Timeline
Set in late May 2006. It’s been so long since some of these storylines happened, I can’t really remember what was going on with Sam’s surgery. She was shot, and there was a brain surgery, so in this story I have Alexis whisking her off to a clinic to keep her away from Jason’s dangerous life. Lucky is addicted to pain killers, Maxie has told Robin about John Jacks’ paternity. Robin and Patrick are dating. Dillon and Georgie are still struggling with their marriage, and he has just returned from the Maarkaam Islands with Lulu. And rereading this, I miss the crap out of Dillon.

Inspiration
Hours was my attempt to write a Johnny/Nadine story, after being inspired by Huma’s The Right Girl. My Claudia and Nadine will never measure up to the gold standard set by her, but I like to think they’re all right. This was originally going to star Johnny/Nadine with Jason/Elizabeth playing minor roles until closer to the end, but a story change I made after initially outlining it changed that. It’s now an equal Liason/Nohnny fic.
Timeline
These Small Hours picks just after Kate is shot at her failed wedding to Sonny in September 2008, and begins in November 2008. Rather than Sonny accusing the Karpovs immediately and aligning with the Zaccharas, he instead blames Johnny, as he has been for months. Jason still has the organziation, in the wake of  Michael’s shooting. He and Elizabeth intended to go to Italy that day, but they never went. Nikolas and Nadine were seeing one another, but that ends shortly after she gets herself kidnapped on the Russian freighter. Lulu had a relapse after seeing Kate shot, and has been sent to a facility in California.
I’m still working out details so this is subject to change.

Let me take you back to July 2006, a brighter, happier time. It was the summer of the great Liason reconnection and we still were naïve as a fandom to believe that this time would be different. This time would be special. Foolish children. *cough* Anyway.
The first spoilers about August 2006 and the blackout came and we were told, as we always are that NOTHING WOULD EVER BE THE SAME. Except, this is GH. So within a few months, it was all the same. Ric was the villain, Sam was the martyr, Elizabeth was back with Lucky, Dillon walked away from Lulu to stay with Georgie — everything changed for about five minutes. As it always does when GH promises us it’s all going to hell in a hand basket.
But among these spoilers was the holy grail for Liason fans: Our couple was finally going to do the nasty. I did not trust GH to do this the way I would do it, but in only this one circumstance–GH surprised me. They wrote the Liason Night of Passion (Forever known as NOP) better than I ever could.
And they promptly screwed it up by having Jason go back to Sam, and Elizabeth go back to Lucky. FML. This is the point where the banner year of 2006 starts to dip in quality. They start taking the safe ways out. And do not get me started on the paternity debacle.
So, I was inspired to write the blackout based on spoilers. This was written ENTIRELY before the NOP aired.
Timeline
SO! If you don’t remember this momentous event (and why should you? GH’s momentous events are never as momentous as promised), here are dirty details.
+ Elizabeth found Maxie and Lucky together three times in about forty-eight hours, so my girl is pretty annoyed with life.
+ Jason and Alexis both saw Sam and Ric doing the dirty at separate times. Carly was kind of separated from Jax at that point, in the wake of the Oh-btw-John-is-Nikolas’s-son debacle. I don’t remember the details and they’re less important.
+ Dillon and Georgie are having issues because Georgie, for some reason I cannot fathom, flirted with Diego Alcazar, one of the dumbest characters to cross my screen in many moons. Lulu has discovered she’s pregnant from her night with Dillon, but the two are angry with one another.
+ Patrick and Robin are kind of seeing each other, but he’s reeling from possibly contracting end-stage AIDS during a surgery.

Inspiration
I fell in love with Patrick and Robin literally from the moment I saw them, and my love remains strong. I have four characters on this show that can do no wrong — Elizabeth, Dillon, AJ, and Patrick. Patrick appears to be the only character the TPTB love as much as I do.
So North Star was my first attempt at a semi full-length Scrubs fic, but I didn’t quite have a handle on either of their characters, it meanders a bit but not in a bad way. My second attempt at a Scrubs story was much better: Sanctuary.
Timeline
This story begins after Patrick and Robin have their first date in January of 2006, shortly before the virus story that killed Courtney. Which, I cannot state enough, was the one gift Guza came me in like seven years. I still celebrate February 20 as a personal holiday. Everything is should be self-explanatory.

Welcome to the sub-site for Mad World, my General Hospital series. Mad World is set in the summer of 2003 and begins the day Jason was supposed to marry Courtney, but Ric kidnapped Carly and locked her away in a panic room.
The Original Series
In Book 1, Break Me Down, we visit the panic room storyline where Jason and Elizabeth work alongside Bobbie and the PCPD to find Carly. In Book 2, All of Me, Carly and Elizabeth begin to recover from the trauma they suffered at the hands of Ric while a serial rapist stalks young women in the park. Book 3, This is Me, followed Carly and Elizabeth dealing with Ric’s escape and the fallout of the serial rapist case, and Book 4, Liberty, returns to Ric’s reign of terror and all the damage he’s created in Elizabeth and Carly’s lives.
New Entries
The first Mad World novella, At Christmas, is set in December 2006, a little over two years after the epilogue of Book 4. Reading the first four books is recommended, but not necessary. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
