NOTE: I’m aware there’s a bug keeping the previous/next chapters from showing up on the stories. I use a WordPress plugin to power the stories, and there’s a bug in that plugin. There’s a fix supposed to come out today. Hopefully it does.

Even more exciting, creating the clips was the first time that I’d used Premiere since upgrading to a new computer, and holy crap, it moved so fast! My old laptop really hated it, so I had to give up even attempting any video projects, but now I can get back to organizing my clips and doing research and watch party livestreams.

Starting today, you can also download new ebooks for Mad World! Book 3 is available for the first time, and I’ve collected Books 1-3 into an ebook. So if you’ve fallen behind or never got around to reading it, and it feels like too much, this is a great way to caught up. You can also change the fonts and display in an ereader device. Clicking on the links will download zip files with all three available formats. Choose the one best for your device and needs.
Tomorrow, I’ll be releasing a partial ebook for Book 4 with Chapters 76-95 to mark the halfway point in Book 4.

Update Link: Signs of Life – Part 38
This is going to be another short update — basically the second half of the part I planned last week. My TMJ doctor prescribed muscle relaxers, but only at night, and it’s still messing me up. It’s been making me groggy in the morning and making it hard to focus — I’m just generally feeling not so great on it and other than being able to sleep, I’m not feeling enough difference to justify staying on it every day. I haven’t really been able to focus on anything since I started it, much less writing, so we need a new plan.
The good news is that today, I’m having the first of a series of tests meant to investigate the whooshing in my ear which is one of the biggest reasons my focus has scattered so much these last 18 months. I’m having an ultrasound on my carotid artery and a CT on my temporal bones to make sure all the vessels are in good shape and that there’s no aneurysm creating issues. (Doctor says that’s like the least likely culprit, but me who watches soap operas and has killed off many characters through aneurysm freaks out — we’re good now). Then, I have an MRI for my neck to confirm my diagnosis so that I can start treatment.

Having a lot of trouble getting started in the morning. I think it’s because of the medicine I’m taking — I’m supposed to take it around the time I go to bed, but it’s making me really groggy in the morning. I’m gonna try taking it a few hours earlier and see if it helps.
I finished reformatting the ebooks for Mad World, Books 1 – 3. Books 1 & 2 have been reuploaded to the site already because they were already publicly available. I had never created an ebook for Book 3, so that’s exclusive to the Patreon tier for about a week — the $3 and above tiers get early access.
