Burn in Heaven – Sequel to A Momentary Thing (Formerly Poisonous Dreams) will be revised and updates will resume.

As I had remarked earlier, I was looking for something that would fit my needs a bit more securely. This theme comes a lot closer to what I want. It’s very minimal, so that you can concentrate on the content, and it allows for custom menus, so I can control navigation better. There’s not much room for layouts, but I can update images and colors relatively easy.

I’m off to add some content, and will update this post accordingly when I finish.

Update: Story Status category added, in the next page. Stories moved over: Noel, These Small Hours, Come Clean, The Sisters, Choose Your Moment. New story to be posted tomorrow. As in brand new episode tag for Friday’s General Hospital.

I didn’t quite get as much done today as I would have hoped, but it’s 5 PM in London, and I scheduled an hour of writing before dinner at 6 so I have to stop 😛 I want to be able to have enough new content to start posting something new every week starting April 1, so I have to get my writing in somehow.

Moved: Heliconia and Clam Chowda, What Would Happen, Rivalry, Rest in Pieces

Spent the better part of the afternoon moving over the rest of the series. Everything is here except Heliconia and Clam Chowda. I’m just tired, so I’ll do that tomorrow along with a few other stories, including:

– What Would Happen
– Rivalry
– Rest in Pieces
– Come Clean
– The Sisters
– These Small Hours

These stories are five chapters or fewer, so they shouldn’t take so long.

Apologies for the delay in the continued move. I had a major German test this week to study for 🙂 I also got a little involved in rewriting Shadows and outlining a few other projects. Here’s the plan for this weekend:

1. Move over Episode Tags, which is the last non-chaptered section to be moved.

2. Move any story that has less than ten chapters.

3.  Work on more functionality. This WP theme is temporary, I’m working on one that is more user friendly, but I’d rather concentrate on the content rather than the look, because I can fix that later.

I had a busy day today, so I only managed to move Truths (Series) here. Tomorrow and this weekend, I plan to finish episode tags and series, before moving on to the long chapter stuff. Stories like I Shall Believe and Sanctuary will probably be the last stories moved over, just because it’ll take more than a day to do each.

Would anyone be interested in a page for music? Where I post links to the songs I use in the stories. Putting it together would be very time consuming, so I’m only going to do so if there’s actual interest.

I adjusted the featured section so that they actually lead to stories you can actuall read. Ha.  I saw that a few people signed up from my messages at the old board, which made me very very happy. Hopefully more will follow!

Spent some time moving over my short fiction, which included challenge responses and general short stories.  My plan for the rest of the week is to move over the episode tags and series by the end of the week, and then next week, set up the basic story pages for all the completed alternate history/universe stories.  Once the basic story pages are set up, and the right codes are in place, I can just start adding stories.

I’m still working on behind-the-scenes social functions. I haven’t found anything that quite fits what I want, so I may to cobble some things together manually.

All of the old stories from the Song Fiction category are available under the ‘Short Stories’ section. I reread them, and got a kick out of how often I used the same  type of dialogue to reunite Jason and Elizabeth in the 2002-04 years. I thought about how much better Cry Ophelia would have been if I hadn’t been trying to insert Jason/Liz reunion stuff in there.

The new revised Shadows has been started and I’m pleased at how it’s coming along, since it’s the first fanfiction I’ve written in almost four years, and the first fiction writing I’ve done in almost a year.  I’m moving over the short stories and series mostly, but I think I’ll move over I Shall Believe and Sanctuary first, of my completed long term stories.

I’m putting together Spotify playlists of some of the songs I featured in my stories, but several of them are not available through that program. I’m looking into alternate, legal options.
