Welcome to Crimson Glass

This is a General Hospital fanfiction archive that concentrates on the pairing of Jason Morgan and Elizabeth Webber. You will also find a lot of stories that feature Sonny and Carly Corinthos, Patrick Drake and Robin Scorpio, and Nikolas Cassadine and Emily Quartermaine. The stories are written completely by me, Melissa (LissieLove) and features novels, short stories, and other GH-related material. It has been online since September 19, 2002.

If you don't like Jason and Elizabeth as a pairing or you have any fondness for the character of Franco, then you should probably click the back button and continue on your way. Happy travels. I hate Franco. He is a lying, violent, sociopathic piece of shit, and I hope this character gets yeeted into the sun. Thank you.

Update Blog

April 29, 2014

So we’re edging closer to the end, my friends.  I may post a second chapter tonight (which I wouldn’t post at RTN until later tomorrow because they tend to conslidate my stuff without warning when I post too close together, because..whatevs) because of the Tube strike in London. Normally, these things don’t affect me because the area will I live is super convenient — my grocery store, my favorite places to go are all really close. But a friend is arriving from the airport tomorrow, and we’re going to go get her. I have to get up early, take a bus to meet my friends to take one line to another stop, where we’ll get the train to Heathrow. So…I’d have to get up before 6 to post this.

I’m not doing that. I love you guys, but not nearly that much.

So you may get the end of this story a little earlier than everyone else. Because I love you guys too much to make you wait more than twenty-four hours for the ending 😛

I’m still not sure which story is going to come next. I finished my term work, but like I said, our friend is coming in from New Jersey for a bit. She’s here until May 11, then another friend is here. And I just found out last night that my birthday present from my best friends is a trip to Ireland next month. It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks.  I’m still holding out hope that I’ll have some breakthroughs on Hours and Tangle, but The Best Thing might come first. I had a major breakthrough on that, and rewrote my plot sketch, and I’m excited about it. I’ll keep you guys posted.

A Few Words Too Many: Chapter 23

April 28, 2014

I updated A Few Words Too Many with Chapter 22. RTN stopped being cranky, so here’s the link to Turning Points I promised yesterday. It’ll be on this site in a better way sometime tomorrow. I’ve got a long day ahead of me, complete with actually delivering this German presentation. So…light a candle for me, I’m gonna need it.

I had a minor breakthrough on The Best Thing yesterday, which isn’t helpful since I need a breakthrough on Tangle, but, eh, life. What’re you going to do? Hopefully I’ll have something for you guys to read once May hits.

You know, I so often get reminded why I didn’t post at Fanfiction.net in the old days. Oy.

April 27, 2014

Not much to say today — I updated A Few Words with Chapter 21. Oh…I’m also doing a Choose Your Ending type thing at RTN, where I write something, and you guys help write the next part. I’ll be posting it here eventually, but it’s just easy to keep the responses in the same place, so the link at RTN for Turning Points. I think most of you guys have a Yuku account, so hopefully you’ll check it out and respond there. I’ll be back with a link to it, Yuku is being a bitch this morning.

I’m working on Tangle and These Small Hours, but it’s taking some time to really dig into these stories. They may not be ready when I said they would be. I don’t want to force it, honestly. I may play around with the sequel to Words, Burn in Heaven, at least sketch out a more detailed plot. Play around with some other stories, to see which one feels like it’ll happen. I’ve been thinking about The Best Thing and Mad World, so maybe those will move up sooner. We’ll see.

Oh, and I updated the layout last night, so if you’re still seeing the old Elizabeth one, refresh. It should be a loverly old-school Liason. I miss these bastards. I miss this Jason. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU MAN?

April 26, 2014

So even though I had intended to only give away one copy, I’m a sucker, and decided to increase it to three. So many people commented, I just felt awful about only three people winning. You guys almost ALL won, haha. But thanks to the plugin, I randomly selected three winners: Aradia, Nicole and Kristina. I’ve emailed you guys with information on downloading the ebooks.

Thanks again to everyone that entered. The ebook will be made generally available on April 30 when I post the last chapter.

Sorry for the quick post earlier. I had to leave to have lunch at 1, it was already 12:3o, and it’s a twenty minute bus ride and ten minute walk to The Diner 😛  I finished this morning, and also updated the cast page. So head over to Damaged to read more.

The next time I post, it’ll be to announce the winners 😛 7 PM EST PEOPLE!

I’ve already designed the ebooks page for easier downloading, and on 30 April 2014, I’ll remove the password protecting the files.

Thanks for the comments on the covers — I completely agree about The Witness, but I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working for me. This is why I post things 😛

A Few Words Too Many: Chapter 20

Also: I’m working on the plot sketch for The Best Thing, and I’m still settling on the name Jason gives to the baby after Sam dies. I’m tossing around Evangeline Grace (Evie) because naturally, Emily helps him with it. Thoughts? I hate choosing names. I liked Cady from another story I did, but I can’t keep using my nieces names (Olivia and Isla)

April 25, 2014

*sigh* I need help. Honestly.

I finished my evil paper around 5, and decided take the rest of the day off 😛 I worked on Damaged, played around with These Small Hours, but then…I got bored. And when I get bored, I think of things I could do that aren’t useful.

So I made covers for the next two ebooks I’ll be compiling. And then I didn’t want to wait for you guys to see them, because hey, what if they suck? And I’ll have you know…that since my computer crash,  I lost all of my Alicia Leigh Willis material, so now when I go looking for Courtney screencaps, I am ASSAULTED by Jason/Courtney pictures.

Is there no decency in this world?

Anyway. I’m halfway done Episode 003 of Damaged, it’ll probably be ready this weekend or Monday. I’ll post the next chapter of Few Words tomorrow morning, and then announce the contest winners a little after 7 PM EST on Saturday. I’m going to try to do two winners, if the plugin will let me.

Here are your advance covers. Click on them to see them full size. (Also, let’s be distubed that I can find blood spatter texture for graphics. This world…worries me.)

So, as a recap to some of the social media whatnot that I’ve been posting over the last few days:

1. Please see this post to find out how you can read the unposted chapters of A Few Words as part of the full novel in ebook format.

2. Head over  to vote and rename Tangle!

3. Please don’t forget to visit us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter, because sometimes I update Twitter with writing bits and I try to update both with major updates.

4. And finally, read A Few Words Too Many: Chapter 19 and begin to forgive me for what I’ve put you through.

April 24, 2014

fewwordsSo I just finished designing an ebook version of A Few Words Too Many. It’s published in .epub format and you can take the novel with you offline, put it on your ereader or read it on your computer. There are a ton of computer programs you can read it on (my personal favorite is Adobe Digital Editions, which is free).

I was so insanely happy with how my first foray into the ebook industry worked that I almost posted it for you guys now…and then, haha. I remembered there are six chapters I haven’t posted yet.

BUT! Because you guys have been just generally awesome, I want to do something to show my appreciation. You guys comment and you vote, and you always have such lovely things to say. It really makes a girl want to write. So…if you comment on this post, you’ll be entered into a contest to win an exclusive advance copy. Which means you’ll get the ending before ANYONE else! Does that sound like fun?

So when you comment, make sure you leave your name and email so I can email you if you win. I’ve got a plugin that will pick a random winner, so it could be anyone! In the body of your comment, why don’t you let me know which other story I have you might want to see in ebook format, like The Witness or I Shall Believe.

CONTEST ENDS Saturday 26 April 2014 at 7PM EST

So I’m not the best at naming stories, haha. I named Tangle in 2008, before I even knew what I was going to do with it. And I haven’t liked it since about Chapter 3, six years ago.  So before I relaunch the rewritten version, I want to rename it. But again, I suck at naming stuff. Ha. Anyway.

Here’s a brief preview of what story is going to be about to help your poll choice. There are no spoilers below, as all this information would be revealed in Chapter 1.

Set in 2024. Elizabeth disappeared with a trace in November 2010, leaving Jason to raise their three children (Cam, Jake and Juliet) by himself, though he’s been assisted by their large extended family.

Lucky Spencer, divorced from Sam and sharing custody of their pre-teen daughter, has never given up on Elizabeth’s case, vowing to find out what happened to her, even if it it’s just to put her at rest. Once a year, he looks into her case, trying to find an angle he’s never investigated before. He discovers a serial killer who abducted petite brunettes from Virginia, West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania during the time period Elizabeth vanished. It’s a long shot, but he’s grasping at straws after nearly fourteen years.

Nadine and Johnny had a vicious and bitter divorce after he slept with Lulu Spencer, and their daughter Amalia is often caught between the middle, as a pawn. Robin and Carly have joined reluctant forces to raise Elizabeth’s children with all the love and devotion she would have given them herself.

Cam and Morgan return from a sojourn to Europe to spend the summer in Port Charles, surrounded by their closest friends and family, which includes Jake and Juliet, Morgan’s sister Cece; Mal Drake, Molly Lansing, and Kristina Davis.

So, my ideas for titles are in the poll below. If you hate them all, just comment and let me know. I hope to post this story in the next three weeks, so hopefully I’ve got it renamed by then.
