Welcome to Crimson Glass

This is a General Hospital fanfiction archive that concentrates on the pairing of Jason Morgan and Elizabeth Webber. You will also find a lot of stories that feature Sonny and Carly Corinthos, Patrick Drake and Robin Scorpio, and Nikolas Cassadine and Emily Quartermaine. The stories are written completely by me, Melissa (LissieLove) and features novels, short stories, and other GH-related material. It has been online since September 19, 2002.

If you don't like Jason and Elizabeth as a pairing or you have any fondness for the character of Franco, then you should probably click the back button and continue on your way. Happy travels. I hate Franco. He is a lying, violent, sociopathic piece of shit, and I hope this character gets yeeted into the sun. Thank you.

All of the old stories from the Song Fiction category are available under the ‘Short Stories’ section. I reread them, and got a kick out of how often I used the same  type of dialogue to reunite Jason and Elizabeth in the 2002-04 years. I thought about how much better Cry Ophelia would have been if I hadn’t been trying to insert Jason/Liz reunion stuff in there.

The new revised Shadows has been started and I’m pleased at how it’s coming along, since it’s the first fanfiction I’ve written in almost four years, and the first fiction writing I’ve done in almost a year.  I’m moving over the short stories and series mostly, but I think I’ll move over I Shall Believe and Sanctuary first, of my completed long term stories.

I’m putting together Spotify playlists of some of the songs I featured in my stories, but several of them are not available through that program. I’m looking into alternate, legal options.

The images to the right for Daughters and Shadows are now clickable, with story pages up. I haven’t started to move chapters over because I’m waiting on a plugin that would allow me to publish them as a series and then put that series list on a page.

Until that plug in is available, I’ll just be setting up story pages first, then moving over the short stories. Hopefully, it won’t take more than a week and I’ll have moved over the in progress stuff first. Again, I’m editing for typos and whatnot before I move over (and I’m toying with revising the first few chapters of Daughters since I wrote them before the plot became clear).

I’m also trying to set up some social actions, so I can close my forums at Yuku and have everything here. Additionally, if anyone has any fanfiction links or board links, I’d be happy to link to them. I’m completely out of the loop on where to go (having been banned from at least two Liason boards in my day :P).

Still setting up the behind-the scenes structure. As soon as the site itself is functional, I’ll be able to add three or four stories a week depending on length. Once the site is up completely (which I am aiming for by the end of February, mid-March at the latest), I’ll post the updated chapters of the following:

– The beginning of the revised Shadows
– A new chapter of Tangled

I hope to have another chapter of Daughters as well, but no promises.

Also in the works:

– Ebooks of the longer stories, particularly I Shall Believe, Yesterdays, and Poisoned Dreams
– Possible revisions of other stories.

I started watching General Hospital in the early 1990s along side my mother, who had been watching it since the 1970s. It’s a family tradition that includes my grandmother, myself, my mother and my aunt. Through watching this show, I’ve met a ton of amazing friends and written quite a lot of fanfiction, most of which was lost years ago in a server crash. That being said, I’m moving  my fanfiction to this address to keep my projects under one domain. I started writing fanfiction in 1998 for fun, and opened Crimson Glass in 2002. It’s existed continuously at various addresses and under various names for the last twelve years. Though I haven’t actively written in quite some time, this archive contains a great deal of completed fiction as well what still remains on my drawing board.

I hope to have this archive completed relatively soon to make life much easier for myself. So far, I’m working on the administrative details, in getting functions and features working before moving over the stories, which will be edited as they get moved for typos and continuity.
