Hey! So the poll closed on Sunday night with For the Broken Girl and Fool Me Twice taking about 70 of the overall 122 cast. I was going to do a run off of the top four choices, but honestly — both those choices accounted for more than 50% of the total vote. So today, I’m posting a sample first chapter of Fool Me Twice, tomorrow you’ll get Broken Girl (a different version than last year’s), and then I’m posting Chapter 1 of Mad World, Book 2 on Thursday. The new poll will go live at the same time.

So bummed more people didn’t vote for Feels Like Home. I’ve been waiting for you to finish that forever. I wanted to find a way to robe-vote for it!!!! Now, I’m all in for For the Broken Girl because I detest Franco.
With Fool Me Twice, I think you’ve probably picked the only moment in modern times where there’s still hope for Liason to rekindle in a way that would draw me in. Honestly, with the destruction done to the characters since that reveal, I’m not sure even a Liason romance now would make me watch the show again. They’ve just tainted it too much. However, the moment you picked for your storyline still left hope. So, we’ll see. However, I’ll still be voting for For the Broken Girl (if I can’t have Feels Like Home) because I don’t really want to read about Franco.
As always, you are an incredible writer and I’m very appreciative of all the time you put into this endeavor. Though, for the life of me, I still don’t understand why you don’t turn toward original characters and try to become published. You have the talent.
I LOVED this first chapter!…which I think I actually already said under the actual chapter. I’ll keep my mind open for the other sample chapter but I am leaning very heavily towards Fool Me Twice. So excited!
I can’t wait to read the sample chapter of The Broken Girl. But, the opening chapter of Fool Me Twice was really good and I agree with LivingLiason you did pick the perfect current era time to move them back into each other’s orbit.
