When I originally began this story in 2008, it was one story and it was called Tangle. It took place in 2024 which necessitated filling in the backstory of 2008-2024. I did this with flashbacks scenes, but I still felt as though I had left out pieces of it. So I conceived the idea of taking some of the major events and putting them into these smaller prequels.
I won’t be covering the main aspect of the story in these prequels (Elizabeth disappears without a trace in 2010), but the effects for her family and friends won’t be ignored. It kicks off the entire saga with If I Don’t Try With You, the immediate aftermath of Michael’s shooting in 2008 which sets up the entire universe.
