One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is play The Sims 4, and I’ve always wanted to create a custom career for the game. An incredible creator, Neia, built a Create-a-Career tool, so I decided that my summer project for fun would be learning how to use and develop my own careers. The first one I wanted to work on was a Daytime career, creating a way for my sims to play out their soap star fantasies.
I need to develop the tracks, levels, and the graphics for this career so it’s definitely a work in progress. If you’ve never played The Sims 4, the way the careers work is that you have a few base levels, and then you choose a career track. Each of the levels pays different amounts and requires different skills. I’ll update it as we go, and if you have any suggestions, I’ll link a form for you to submit them.
