Update Link: Fool Me Twice, Book 2 – Chapter Listing (Added Chapters 53-77)
Happy Spring Break!
When I got home from work today, I checked reviews on FF.net and saw I had a bunch of people disappointed I was writing Jason as “settling” for Elizabeth and that I was secretly writing JaSam fanfiction. I got annoyed, and I thought, you know what? I’m just gonna dump the whole stupid book today and stop thinking about it. (I clearly have unresolved rage issues.)
I started organizing the chapters to post, and then I thought — well why do I post chapters like this? Spacing them out, making you guys wait? It’s so I don’t disappear for months on end between books, lol. And that was a good plan 2014-2018 when I was writing and posting as I went. But I’ve been finishing the books before posting for six years — and Flash Fiction is a pretty regular fixture.
SO. Executive decision. I write the books, I release the books as books. You read them in however many sittings you want. And Flash Fiction can be bumped up to 3x times a week, especially as we move into the end of the year.

Wow! I’m so excited to binge on this story but very disappointed you received upsetting and hurtful comments. I’ve been a fan of yours from way back in the being and I trust the end game for your stories. Thanks for not giving up. I think you give us real portrayals of the characters and their dilemmas. It would natural for everyone to feel doubts. I’m feel sorry for some people can’t read a story that isn’t 100% sappy love and feelings. Fluff is great but I wouldn’t want to read a whole novel of mush. Melissa has been giving us quality stories that stay true to characters and their growth. I mean you write Franco even though you hates him. While I’m glad all the book is released, I would’ve been happy with the weekly update. PS. Thanks for teasing us with all the secret stuff you come up with. It won’t drive me crazy at all. 🙂
