Hey guys! Just checking in to let you know that I probably won’t be updating today.
My power has gone out twice this morning — once around 5:30 for three hours, and then again at about 10:40 AM for another half hour (right when I was about to set up for Flash). The city said they expect a full restoration around 4:30 and I don’t know if that means they expect it to be intermittent all day or if I should be good — I’d honestly hate to set up everything, start writing, and then lose power for 30 minutes or longer. Because then I have to wait for power to come back on, my network to be restored, and hope that my writing got saved because Scrivener does a pretty good job of auto saving, but some text might still be lost. It’s just more trouble than it’s worth.
I’m super frustrated by this, but I was supposed to take off Monday — I’ll just work that day instead.
Very sorry — believe me, I’m so annoyed. I was rudely pulled out of a comfortable sleep when my sound machine and AC went off (I need the sound machine because I can’t sleep with the whooshing in my ear, I am a hot mess people) and then I couldn’t even make coffee at home. I had to get dressed and go out, ugh.

Very rude,indeed especially with all of the high temps. Do what you have to do to stay cool. We totally understand that sometimes you can’t get to your writing. Hopefully, you won’t lose power again.
